  • Shobin UralilFounder, CEO

    Shobin is responsible for setting the strategy & vision at kWhOURS, Inc. and making sure it is all properly executed to plan. Prior to co-founding kWhOURS, Shobin spent several years working in corporate strategy and finance. As a part of Sempra Energy's Corporate Development group. he assessed numerous potential acquisition candidates and helped them create a renewable energy platform. Prior to Sempra, Shobin was an investment banker at Credit Suisse in New York. He holds a BSBA in Finance and Technology Management from Georgetown University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was recognized for his entrepreneurial activities and was the inaugural recipient of the Howard and Carol Anderson Fellowship for Entrepreneurship.
  • Colin DavisFounder, Product

    Colin is a LEED AP certified former consultant for corporate, state and federal energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. His experience (and frustration) in conducting commercial energy audits laid the foundation for kWhOURS. He holds a BS in physics from Trinity College, concentrating on photovoltaic design and hydrogen transportation systems.

    Bill has worked in the software industry for over 20 years, focusing exclusively on early stage startups. Bill's love of learning and the dynamic nature of startups have afforded him the opportunity gain experience in many roles from individual contributor to founder and in many areas of the business from engineering to sales. Bill was drawn to kWhOURS by the diverse and interesting team and the opportunity to contribute to energy conservation on a larger scale.
  • Jeff HowardVP of Sales

    Jeff brings over 25 years of experience building and leading successful sales and marketing operations at early stage software companies. He has been instrumental in growing multiple pre-public software companies, leading to two successful IPOs and two favorable acquisitions. Jeff graduated summa cum laude from Boston University’s School of Management and did his post-graduate work in Entrepreneurial Studies at Babson College.
  • Jon Cody HainesDirector of Data Architecture

    Jon Cody brings a diverse background to kWhOURS. He holds a MS in engineering management from Northeastern University, has worked in venture capital, energy engineering, and is a co-founder of the Boston chapter of the charity Mustaches for Kids (seriously, it exists). Jon Cody is also a committed environmentalist - a four season scooter commuter, and active member of the town of Brookline, MA Climate Action Committee.
  • Thomas ThompsonDirector of Client Solutions

    Tom Thompson is an accomplished relationship expert, and is responsible for our sales and account management efforts. Before coming to kWhOURS, he held many sales and account management roles for two rapid high-growth technology companies, Reputation.com and Gerson Lehrman Group. There, he gained significant experience in growing sales and relationship organizations in new and underserved markets. A former teacher, public servant and entrepreneur-at-heart, Tom is passionate about youth education, entrepreneurship and health. He has founded, and served on boards of several local and national youth focused non-profit organizations. He holds a BA with Honors in Political Science from Texas State University.
  • Felipe AramburuSr. Software Engineer

    Felipe brings over nine years of startup experience. His post-graduate work included developing simulation software for decision analysis at University of Freiburg (Germany). He holds a BA in economics and Latin American studies from the University of Texas in Austin. Prior to working at kWhOURS, Felipe oversaw and implemented projects in healthcare, academia, and customer relationship management.
  • Nitin Kurian JohnSoftware Engineer

    Nitin was born in India and moved to Kuwait when he was 12 years old but returned back to India to study Electrical Engineering from NIT, Calicut. On completing his studies he moved back again to Kuwait to work in a Switchgear manufacturing firm for almost 4 years. Wanting to take his skills to the next level, he decided to pursue his Masters in Computer Science from USC, Los Angeles and graduated in May 2010. His interests in startups and green technology prompted him to respond to a kWhOURS job posting and the rest is history.
